Psychodynamic therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses more on the root causes of our distress and emotional blind spots. It looks into unconscious motives and increasing insight and self-awareness. Your relationship with your therapist will often be an important tool in this process.

Psychodynamic therapy is often open-ended and goes beyond symptoms to achieving personality changes. You may find that your therapist is more “silent” than you are used to. This is so you are given space to express and explore what is in your mind.
